Fibre Distribution Frame (FDF) organizes Optical Fibre Pigtails
and Patch Cords at distribution nodes in the fibre network. It connects
Optical Line Termination Box on one side and Optical Line Termination
equipment on the other side. The FDF also provides facilities for
patching, routing and re-routing of various communication channels. |
